3 ways to wear everyone´s fave item
My fashion sense is constantly evolving as I grow and reinvent myself as a person. Fashion has always had that power for me, to reflect my mood and attitude for that particular day. I guess that´s why fashion is art, it has the power for self-expression and communicates something about you, without you even having to say a word.
No matter how much my style changes though, there is one item that always remains constant...the white shirt. A white shirt may be the most androgynous of items you can find in your wardrobe. White shirt+ Pinafore:
The pinafore (and no...it´s not a dungaree dress as I also made the mistake of thinking…) may be one of the most overlooked items of clothing! They are super comfy and mix the best of both dungaree and dress into one. Wear them in Winter or Summer, this item is cross-seasonal! Pair with your white shirt (I´m wearing a satin, off-the-shoulder one) + sneakers or boots and accessorise as you please!
White shirt+ high-waisted skirt:
High-waisted pants and skirts are a woman´s best friend. First: they hide your muffin-top & second: are super flattering for almost all body shapes and sizes! Tuck your white shirt into a high-waisted skirt for instant glam. Pair with sneakers, boots or heels depending on the occasion, to take this from a day-to-night look (or vise versa).
White shirt+vintage denims:
They may have started out as overall pants for workers back in day, but no matter how trends change from year to year, the classic denim will never ever (like ever) go out of fashion. I probably live in my vintage denim jeans, which are cinched at the waist and super easy to doll up or dress down. Pair yours with a black belt and white shirt tied at the waist (90s style).
I have matched all 3 looks with white sneakers, because of their versatility and the ability to dress down a white shirt for more of a day-look. You could wear everything from boots to sandals though, mixing and matching is the name of the game babes! :)
