Vintage Autumn/Winter lookbook

As a follow up to my previous post on the back story of Portobello Road Vintage, I decided to create an Autumn/ Winter lookbook showing you some of my fave looks in store (as promised xo). Had so much fun with this shoot, hope you enjoy! x

Look 1 - Honey Honey

Yellow mellow. The SA drought will forever ruin this phrase for me, but nonetheless this look is indeed yellow and very mellow, perfect for those chilled out days when you´re on the go!

Not only are these vintage mom jeans super super comfy, but nothing says relaxed like a simple tee and pair of sneakers. Paired with this patch leather bag and yellow shirt, the yellow details are completed and brought out so well!

Look 2 - retro babes

For me, this look is the 90s mashed with the 50s, with a whole lotta grunge thrown in for fun! These graphic tees are perfect for tucking into a skirt or worn baggy over some leggings. Worn with these Janie B skirts, the look becomes the perfect pairing of feminine meets more androgynous elements. Also these moonbags are so cute for tying together the black details in the rest of the look (i.e. in the boots, tees and skirt).

Look 3 - Green plaid 2 ways

Look 3.1 comfy knits:

Plaid is so fab right now and this Janie B 2 piece set is a must for any wardrobe! I´ve paired look 3.1 with a basic cream knit. This look got a slightly more formal touch with these heeled boots, but you can easily pair it with a pair of sneakers for a more casual twist. Overall this looks reminds me of kinda cute librarian vibes.

I decided to complete this look and tie together the green elements, with these super cute green sunnies, which add the retro twist we all need!

Look 3.2: Green & Gold bomber:

Nothing says Autumn/ Winter like an ovesized bomber/ rain jacket. I absolutely love this green & gold vintage rain jacket, not only does it pair well with this green plaid set, but its so warm and comfy too!
